What's new? A Look at the Emerging Art Scene in Ticino.
Now in its third edition, this exhibition has by now become an indispensable appointment for those who want to know what is being created within the emerging art scene in Ticino. With the presentation of 15 artists under the age of 40 and so offering a variegated panorama of the artistic production of the younger generations, this exhibition proposes to favour a better integration of local artistic creation within the Swiss context as a whole. On the occasion of the exhibition one of the artists will be awarded the Premio Migros Ticino di incoraggiamento alla creazione artistica. The artists tacking part in the exhibition are the following: Sibilla Altepost, Oppy De Bernardo, Umberto De Martino, Daniela Droz, Andreas Gysin and Sidi Vanetti, Aglaia Haritz, Martina Jacoma, Daniel Kemeny, Piritta Martikainen, Eleonora Meier, Gianluca Monnier and Andrée Julikà Tavares, Valentina Pini, Samoa Rémy, Pascal Schwaighofer, Una Szeemann and Bohdan Stehlik.
