TIME IS LOVE is an annual exhibition of single-screen and projectable videos from an international selection of artists. It takes place at a gallery, art centre, museum, university in different cities in the world by edition.
Time is Love presents approximately fifteen works made in the last three years by artists active around the world. This exhibition explores the idea of love in these hard times and socio-cultural interference, the way in which technology and society give rise to new forms of artistic expression by using the new media.
For those who think ‘time is money ’, time is love. This is the theme according to the artists’ references. The exhibition aims to consider the work of these artists as part of the global phenomenon that is contemporary art, and asks the audience to reflect upon how the time that led to the production of these works was formed.
The project wishes to support and promote the new movements and trends in contemporary culture. It presents video artists who try to transform society through their work. Art that transgresses boundaries of culture and provide a resource of visual ideas.
It is a showcasing opportunity for emerging and established artists who are pushing the elements of video and moving image practice. It is also an opportunity for audiences to engage with video works by gaining greater understanding and enjoyment.
The selected videos are innovative works which use technology in ingenious way with narrative, non-narrative, documentary, animation, performance or experimental.
